The booklet is a short narrative about the HfG Ulm. The Ulm School of Design (Hochschule für Gestaltung, HfG), founded in 1953 by Inge Scholl, Otl Aicher and Max Bill. It was the most influential design school of the 20th century.
The booklet is a short narrative about the HFG Ulm. It is a conversation between two students where one of them builds a stool which unfortunately is an exact copy of the ‘Ulm stool’ by Max Bill. Unaware of its creator, the student thinks that it has created something that does not exist. Lack of exposure to design history and design products of the past reinforces the importance to teach history at design schools in INDIA.
